Con qué frecuencia los turistas pueden ingresar a EE.UU

Una de las dudas mà ¡s comunes  de los turistas que viajan a Estados Unidos es que no saben la frecuencia con la que pueden ingresar al paà ­s. Esta incertidumbre aplica tanto a los extranjeros que viajan con una visa de turista, conocida tambià ©n como de paseo, placer, B2 o B1/B2, como aquellos que pueden ingresar sin visa por pertenecer a un paà ­s del Programa de Exencià ³n de Visados o a los mexicanos que residen a lo largo de la frontera y utilizan una visa là ¡ser, tambià ©n conocida como de cruce. En este artà ­culo se informa sobre quà © dice la ley sobre la frecuencia de ingresos asà ­ como las posibles consecuencias. Asimismo, al final, se hace referencia a otros problemas relacionados con este asunto: tiempo mà ¡ximo permitido de presencia, posibles extensiones y castigos por no respetarlo.  ¿Con quà © frecuencia puede un turista ingresar a EE.UU.? No hay ninguna ley o normativa que especifique cuà ¡nto tiempo un turista extranjero tiene que permanecer fuera de Estados Unidos antes de regresar. Pero si se quieren evitar problemas conviene tener presente que para ingresar como turista el fin es precisamente ese o recibir tratamiento mà ©dico. Si el oficial del control migratorio tiene conocimiento o meramente una sospecha de que la finalidad del ingreso es otra distinta, habrà ¡ problemas con absoluta seguridad. Por ejemplo, si sospecha que detrà ¡s de visitas muy seguidas està ¡ el hecho de que se està ¡ buscando trabajo lo cual no està ¡ permitido por las leyes migratorias o, incluso, de que ya se està ¡ trabajando sin documentacià ³n que lo autorice. Tambià ©n se puede sospechar que la persona extranjera està ¡ estudiando dentro de EE.UU. sin visa de estudiante. Otra sospecha frecuente es que el oficial migratorio puede pensar que detrà ¡s de ingresos muy frecuentes està ¡ el hecho de que se està ¡ conviviendo con un familiar o una pareja sin tener una tarjeta de residencia permanente. Obviamente, habrà ¡ personas que por sus circunstancias personales no serà ¡n sospechosas. Por ejemplo, tienen un gran capital y entran y salen de EEUU frecuentemente para simplemente comprar, etc. Pero otras sà ­ que llamarà ¡n la atencià ³n y harà ¡n que el inspector de Inmigracià ³n se pregunte:  ¿tiene dinero suficiente para pagarse unas vacaciones tan largas?,  ¿ha dejado de trabajar o de estudiar en su paà ­s de origen y por eso pasa temporadas tan grandes en EEUU? Y,  ¿estarà ¡ buscando trabajo, etc.?  ¿Quà © sucede si se sospecha de las intenciones de un turista? Lo cierto es que pueden suceder varias situaciones. En primer lugar, el inspector de Inmigracià ³n le impide el ingreso, bien permitiendo una retirada de la intencià ³n de entrar a EEUU o bien mediante una expulsià ³n inmediata. Es muy importante entender quà © realmente pasà ³ en el paso migratorio, ya que los efectos entre una retirada y una expulsià ³n son muy diferentes. Si en el  control migratorio escriben I-275 en el pasaporte, es importante conocer las consecuencias. En segundo lugar, es posible que el oficial migratorio envà ­e al turista a una segunda inspeccià ³n, en otras palabras, el famoso cuartito. Destacar que en el paso migratorio no aplican las protecciones constitucionales de los Estados Unidos. Los extranjeros no tienen derecho a un abogado y las autoridades puedne acceder a sus computadoras y telà ©fonos celulares. En tercer lugar, puede que permitan al turista ingresar, pero la sospecha sobre quà © hay detrà ¡s de ingresos tan frecuentes puede saltar en  el momento en que toca renovar la visa. En ese momento consulado probablemente va a negar la peticià ³n. Es imprescindible tener claro que tanto el oficial del paso migratorio al llegar a EE.UU. como el del consulado puede negar o revocar/cancelar una visa basà ¡ndose tan sà ³lo en la sospecha de que no se cumplen los requisitos para la visa o de la finalidad del viaje a Estados Unidos. Ni aduanas y consulado deben probar nada. Otros problemas migratorios de los turistas Relacionado con el tema de la frecuencia de los ingresos està ¡ el de cuà ¡nto tiempo se puede permanecer legalmente en EE.UU. Si se tiene visa de turista, el fijado en el I-94, tambià ©n conocido como documento de registro de ingreso o salida. Con visa de turista se puede solicitar una extensià ³n, si se cumplen los requisitos. Si se ingresa con una visa là ¡ser, el establecido por las reglas de à ©sta. Y si se ingresa sin visa por ser de un paà ­s del Programa de Exencià ³n de visados el tiempo mà ¡ximo de la estadà ­a es de 90 dà ­as, los cuales no pueden extenderse bajo ninguna circunstancia. Si no se respetan los tiempos mà ¡ximos de estadà ­a, el turista se convierte en un extranjero indocumentado, con todos los problemas que eso conlleva. Ademà ¡s, su visa se cancela y los que ingresaron sin visa ya no podrà ¡n acogerse a los privilegios de ese programa en el futuro. Otro problema recurrente de los turistas es que algunos utilizan su presencia en EE.UU. para un fin no autorizado. Si se descubre, tendrà ¡n problemas migratorios serios. En esta categorà ­a se incluyen circunstancias como ingresar como turista e inmediatamente casarse con un ciudadano y pedir arreglar los papeles, aunque el matrimonio sea real, ya que se considera que es un fraude ya que se pidià ³ el ingreso como turista. As the economy in Canada is in an uncertain stage, the employment opportunity is less; thereby, for immigrants getting a job in Canada is certainty difficult. First, why did the United States drop the atomic bomb on the residents of two Japanese cities? According to proponents of the bomb, the reason was to end the war against the Japanese. However, Japan was already in deep trouble as it was. The country was running out of agricultural and industrial power by 1945, and its leaders were starting to accept the reality that they would not be able to win the war. On page 334, Aplerovitz notes that Henry H. Arnold stated in his memoirs that it always appeared to us, atomic bomb or no atomic bomb, the Japanese were already on the verge of collapse. One exception to Japanese surrender was that they wanted to keep their form of government, but the fact that the United States was not clear on the terms of surrender delayed the whole process. All these factors seem to show that Japan would probably have surrendered without the use of the bomb. This was emphasized by deputy presidential spokesman Lorelei Fajardo on 2 November 2009 after the Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC) asked the termination date of Executive Order 839.However price caps can only be imposed for a maximum 60 days ,the imposition will be lifted sooner or later. Earlier estimates showed that consumers may have to bear P4.50 to P5 per liter increase in pump prices once the EO is lifted. As to how much the first increase in price on 15 November 2009 depended on competitive forces. According to Martinez, the P1-billion fund which was earlier set aside by the government to assist the transport group in conversion to LPG may also be tapped to help cushion the impact of the expected surge in oil prices in the next few weeks. Part of a book that contains a series of similar stories, this short narrative is an emblem of the phenomena of uncertainty. It not only talks about this state for one person, but actually, for life in general. A feeling of intense solitude and pessimism is a distinguishing feature in the story. It primarily features the emotional state of a person, who has just left his wife and child for his lover; the latter on the other hand is to leave with her husband – something that is disclosed only at the end. The story depicts the immense emotional challenge of being at a crossroad in life, and having to choose between two ways that go completely opposite. Initially, the dilemma of the wife of the lead character is shown, accompanied by his unsure nature. He only resorts to telling her that he has left after he has left the house and is half way to his second destiny. This in turn tells us that not only he lacks sense of decision, but also the courage to disclose what he really feels. A similar trait is reflected when the wife insists that the child be told about this venture by the father himself. So it turns out that the gentlemen did not muster up the required nerves to disclose it to his family members in person. This also depicts the shallow and under confident nature of the person. Though it is a decision that he has taken which is anybody’s right, but he seems afraid of facing the consequences and hence he has restrained himself from explaining this to his wife on her face. He was uncertain about the reaction of the wife and hence he thought of doing it on the telephone. A hidden feeling of insecurity is also visible through this act. For if it were to be assumed that his act is the best way to go forward, then he should have not considered it right to do it in a sort of hideout. The story then takes its turn towards its end when we realize that the lady for whom he has left his family, is not willing to do the same with him; she already has plans with her husband. Here, he is left hanging, and asks the symbolic last question, â€Å"Where am I supposed to go? † The overall defeatist attitude, and the ultimate failure of this person speaks of how the author tends to portray the nature of his actions. It seems that the scriber does not agree with the decision that he has made, and thus ultimately punishes him to be left standing nowhere. With a negative impression overall, and dejected members of the story in total, the all encompassing picture presented in the story is that of not being sure as to which way life is going to turn the next moment. It seems that the author has projected his own feelings of uncertainty upon his main character, and has voiced through his emotions and words, his own question towards life; why do things not happen as per our plans? Though answers are not given for this question in the story, it is stated vehemently that our decisions can not be fulfilled as per our desires. Whether the wish is constructive or otherwise, what is important is that things did not turn out as were planned, leaving him at an unknown juncture in his life. With a mixture his lack of conviction, failure to decide convincingly and inability to face the music, the only grounds that he finds himself are uncertain ones. One is left with the feeling at the end, that if at such a crucial crossroad in life, things cannot go as we want them to, then what really is the true purpose and meaning of life. Shelley and Keats Autumnal Theme in English Romantic Poetry: Shelley^Ã’s "Ode to the West Wind" and Keats^Ã’s "To Autumn." A season of autumn is traditionally associated with transience and mutability, with dying of nature and expectations of the following winter time. For Romantic poets who are known for their extraordinary sensitivity to natural moods the period of fall becomes a great force for poetic creativity. In "Ode to the West Wind" Shelley mainly concentrates his attention on his observations of the death caused by the autumnal wind. All these images talk to the author of the "dying year" (WW, 677/24), of transience of time and of aging. The theories put forward, by Kant and Mill deal with the moral qualities of choices or actions. Although they are very different, none of the two theories shows concern in the virtue ethics on what really constitutes a good human being. However, Kant’s theory is much deontological. This means that it locates the moral worth associated with an action within the action itself. Therefore, the main concern is not in the consequences associated with the specific action. On a more specific note, Kant’s point of view is that it is possible to have one duty or rule, which can be categorized/ characterized as being the categorical imperative. He arrived at three different formulations pertaining to this imperative (Kant & Gregory, 1998). The most fundamental formulation is that if it is impossible for all human beings to commit the same set or sets of actions, then concerned action is immoral. This means that if one is a liar, he is incapable of willing that every person lie because in this case the meaning of truth may end up becoming incomprehensible. As a result, any advantage, which obtained by use of lies, can end up getting lost. The second imperative is a different way of underlining the golden rule. It states that if one is unable to will (desire) that a different person commit the same action on one’s person, then the actual committing of the action or deciding mentally to do the same is an immoral endeavor. On the other hand, we can take Mill as being more of a consequentialist. According to Mill, the outcomes determine the goodness of any action (Kant & Gregory, 1998). Kant is of the opinion that the good action is one, which is in line with our duty. This becomes known depending on the fact, which it apportions with the categorical imperative Mill’s beliefs make him a utilitarian. In his theory, goodness is located according to the happiness which it gives rise to. It is worth noting, however, that both philosophers are very passionately interested in personal liberty for all the concerned individuals. Mill’s utilitarianism does not involve neither with the means nor with intentions. It is entirely with the results. Mill’s opinion was that all events’ outcomes could be measured by use of units, which he referred to as â€Å"utils.† The units can be used to determine the existent to which an action was utilitarian. Mill argued that the higher the number of â€Å"utils† associated with an action portrayed how good an action was. Critics have pointed out that utilitarianism is not concerned about coming with rules to set up some form of a â€Å"straw man.† On the part of Mill (1998), he argues that utilitarianism is some form of a crude caricature act. This is the version, which the philosophers appear to be acquainted with. Further, Daniel Dennett has argued that it is not possible to do the calculations, as required by the utilitarianism theory simply because the incidents do not sum up as a precise value in terms of utility. Mill’s utilitarianism does not involve neither with the means nor with intentions. It is entirely with the results. He wishes to sideline himself from Kant by expressing that actions can lead to an outcome, but taking no credibility of the actions. On the other hand, Kant takes responsibility of the action. Urdu †The Origin and History of the Language Essay

The term Urdu derives from a Turkish word ordu meaning camp or army. The Urdu languagedeveloped between the Muslim soldiers of the Mughals armies who belonged to various ethnicities like Turks, Arabs, Persians, Pathans, Balochis, Rajputs, Jats and Afghans. These soldiers lived in close contact with each other and communicated in different dialects, which slowly and gradually evolved into present day Urdu. It is for this reason that Urdu is also referred to as Lashkari Zaban or language of the army. During its development Urdu language also assumed various names like the term Urdu-e-Maullah meaning the exalted army which was given by Emperor Shah Jahan and the term Rekhta meaning scattered (with Persian words) which was coined by the scholars for Urdu poetry. History and Evolution of Urdu Language Evolution and development of any language is dependent on the evolution and development of a society where that language is spoken. Various invasions and conquests on a place affect the development of its language. Urdu is no exception as it also underwent various stages of development. Urdu belongs to the Indo-Aryan family of languages. Urdu by origin is considered to be a descendent of Saur Senic Prakrit. The term Prakrriti means root or basis. It is a later version of Sanskrit. As Prakrit language began to develop, it was influenced by Western Hindi dialects of Khari Boli, Brij Bhasa and Haryanvi. With the coming of Insha’s Darya-e-Latafat*, a need was felt to differentiate Urdu with other languages especially Hindi. It became a Hindi-Urdu controversy and as a result Khari Boli and Devanagari became the identity of Indians while Urdu and Persian of Muslims. In this context, Persian and Arabic words replaced with Sanskrit served the purpose of differentiating Hindi from Urdu . Urdu emerged as a distinct language after 1193 AD – the time of the Muslims conquest. When the Muslims conquered this part of the continent, they made Persian the official and cultural language of India. As a result of the amalgamation of local dialects and the language of the invaders – which was either Persian, Arabic and Turkish, a new language evolved which later became Urdu. During the Mughals reign, Urdu was  spoken in palaces and court and till the end of the Mughal rule; Urdu was the official language of most of Mughal states. This was the time when Urdu had become Persianized and enriched with Persian words, phrases and even script and grammar. With the coming of the British, new English words also became part of the Urdu language. Many English words were accepted in their real form while others were accepted after some modifications. Currently, Urdu vocabulary contains approximately 70% of Persian words and the rest are a mixture of Arabic and Turkish words. However, there are also traces of the French, Portuguese and Dutch language in Urdu. But these influences are little. Urdu was taken to other parts of the country by soldiers, saints and sufis and by the common people. As a result of the political, social and cultural contacts amongst the people of different speech and dialects, a mixed form of language formed called ‘Rekhta’ (Urdu and Persian in mixed form). Soon people started to use the new language in their speech and in literature which resulted in the enrichment of Urdu language and literature. Urdu Literature The origin of Urdu literature dates back to the 13th century in India during the Mughal rule. One of the most eminent earliest poets who made usage of Urdu in his poetry is Amir Khusro who can be called the father of Urdu language. In literature, Urdu was usually used along side Persian. Mughal kings were the great patrons of art and literature and it was under their rule that Urdu language reached its zenith. There used to be a tradition of ‘Sheri Mehfils’ (poetic gatherings) in the kings’ courts. Abul Fazal Faizi and Abdul Rahim Khankhana were the famous Urdu poets of Mughal court. Likewise, Mirza Ghalib, Allama Iqbal, Hakim Momin, Ibrahim Zauq, Mir Taqi Mir, Sauda, Ibn-e-Insha and Faiz Ahmed Faiz have contributed to the evolution of Urdu language through their literary works. It is indeed true that Hindi and Urdu are descendents of the same language i.e. Prakrit, but where the Hindi took influence from Sanskrit and adopted Devanagri script of writing, Urdu absorbed words from Persian, Turkish and Arabic languages and adopted Persian-Arabic script and Nastaliq calligraphic style of writing and emerged as a separate language. But beside common ancestry, the two languages are as different as can be. There are marked grammatical, phonological and lexical differences in both languages. Urdu was also used  as a tool by the Muslims for freedom struggle and for creating awareness among Muslim communities in South Asia to unite under the banner of Independence from British Raj. For this, services of Maulana Hali, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and Allama Iqbal are notable, who through their poetry and prose provoked the necessary spark in the lives of the Muslims. Urdu was chosen to become the national language of Pakistan at the time of Independence from British. One way colleges make that distinction is by looking at ACT score percentiles. ACT score percentiles help colleges compare students with one another, rather than just looking at everyone’s individual score. Learn more about your ACT score percentile so you can maximize both your study time and admission chances. Then, find out your current score percentile using our detailed charts. What’s an ACT Percentile Ranking? Your percentile ranking is a comparison of your ACT score with everyone else who took the test. Specifically, your percentile tells you how many people you scored higher than. The ACT will give you a percentile ranking for your composite score as well as for your four subject-area scores. (For more on how the ACT is scored and how your composite is calculated, check out our guide.) Your ACT score percentile is not like a grade out of 100;rather, it’s a comparison between you and other students. For example, if you get in the 70th percentile, this means you scored higher than 70% of test takers. It doesn’t mean you got exactly 70% of the test questions correct. (In fact, the ACT is tricky enough that if you got about 70% of the questions right, your ranking would be closer to the 75th percentile.) What Are the Current ACT Score Percentiles? Now that you know about percentile rankings, it’s helpful to know what the ACT percentiles actually are, both for composite scores and individual section scores. You can use the following chart to find percentile rankings for your overall ACT composite score and for each section (English, Math, Reading, and Science). To find your percentile, first find your score between 1 and 36 on the left-hand side, and then slide over to the correct subject area or composite to see your percentile ranking. One important thing to note is thatthere's really no difference in percentiles at the highest and lowest score ranges. At the upper end, anything higher than a 34 composite score is in the 99th-100thpercentiles. Similarly, at the lower end, any composite score between 1 and 8 is in the 1stpercentile. However, things change quickly in the middle. For example, a 3-point jump from 17 to 20 raises your percentile from the 34th to the 52nd- or, from below average to average. To take another example, a 3-point jump from 26 to 29 takes you from the 82ndpercentile to the 91stpercentile. Getting into the 91st percentile is fantastic because it puts you in the top 10% of all test takers. What all of this means is that if you get a lower or middle-range composite score, raising it by just a few points can have a dramatic effect on your percentile ranking and thus your college admission chances. In addition, unless you're shooting for the most elite schools, if you get a 34 composite or higher, you probably shouldn't worry about having toretake the ACT. What About ACT Subscore Percentiles? ACT subscores give you more detail about your performance on the ACT and what specific areas you can improve on. However, as of late 2016,ACT, Inc.,no longer releases public information about percentile ranks for ACT subscores,so the only place you can get information about your performance on subscores compared with other test takers is your own ACT score report. If you haven't taken the ACT and are curious, you can take a look at this sample score reportfor the 2017-18 testing year. Note thatcolleges likely will not look too closely (if at all) at your subscores. When it comes to the ACT, your overall composite score is most important.It's the number most colleges use when reporting admitted student score ranges, and the scoremost often used to determine scholarship recipients. Ultimately, subscores can be used to give more context about your performance, but they're not be-all and end-all numbers. Does My ACT Percentile Actually Matter? Percentile rankings are important because they help colleges compare your ACT performance with those of other test takers. But the ACT score ranges for the colleges you're applying to are far more important than your overall percentile ranking. Colleges have average ACT score ranges for admitted students that usually don’t change drastically from year to year, and they rely on these ranges when making admissions decisions. This range is the middle 50%, or the 25th and 75th percentile scores,of admitted applicants. To find ACT score ranges for a college, search "[School Name] ACT scores PrepScholar." By doing this for all of the colleges you want to apply to, you can come up with a target ACT score. Your goal score will then be equal to the highest 75th percentile score for your schools. The goal is to get a higher than average ACT score for your dream college. Though your target score is most important, ACT percentiles can help you interpret your own scores better. For example, say you got a 30 on Math (95thpercentile) and a 24 on English (75thpercentile). Without percentile data, it would be hard to say exactly how much better you did on Math than on English.But with rankings, you can see that your Math score is excellent and your English score, while strong, could be improved- a 3-point jump to 27 could net you an 84th percentile score. To sum up, percentiles are a very helpful tool, both for college admissions officers looking at your application and for you in your own studying. But rather than obsessing over your ranking, aim for a score that is competitive for the colleges you want to go- this willgive you your best shot at getting into your dream school! What’s Next?
